Victor Grimes

Victor was the data manager for the Division of EMS & Trauma (now EMS & Trauma Section) with the state of South Carolina for over 35 years. He was the state’s EMS data “”guru.”” He implemented and maintained every state credentialing and PCR database in EMS History in South Carolina. He ensured that EMS data met national standards and served as mentor to his colleagues in every aspect of his job. No one knew EMS data like Victor. Victor was awarded an Honorary Paramedic Certification in June 2024. He is survived by his wife, son, two daughters and 3 grandchildren.
