Thomas was a member of the Ellendale Vol. FIRE Co, The Georgetown Vol. Fire Co, and worked for Sussex County EMS as a Logistics technician. He joined the Fire service at 15. He was the Ellendale Fire Co Fireman of the year in 2022. Thomas was known for being hard working with remarkable work ethic and was someone you could count on to get things done. He was fun loving, humble and committed to his passion for the fire service. He lost his life while operating on scene at a motor vehicle accident.
