Sean McDerby

Sean was proud to wear the uniform of the Delaware State Police and strived to conduct himself in keeping with the best ideals and traditions of the department. He was most proud of the service he provided as a Trooper Medic in the aviation section. Sean was buoyed throughout his career by the support, loyalty, and fidelity of his brother and sister troopers and was always grateful for this extended family. Sean became a father in 2014. The love and the pride he had for his daughter knew no bounds. Sean passed without any regrets except for that he could not physically be with her.
