Robert was the 5th Nationally Registered Paramedic which he maintained until his death. Robert spent 53 years serving as a captain in Suffield, Ohio. He also served neighboring communities. In 2018, he was recognized as the Ohio EMS Provider of the Year.
He stated his greatest accomplishment was having the privilege of working with all of his children and son-in-law during his career. Robert is survived by his children Robert, Brenda, Brian and Brad, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Many of his family continue to service others through their work in EMS and healthcare.
