Richard began his EMS career in July 2012 as a volunteer with the Morristown Ambulance Squad, earning his EMT certification in 2013. He built on that foundation working as a Patient Care Technician in the emergency room, where his passion for patient care and medicine continued to grow. In 2018, he achieved his goal of becoming a paramedic with Atlantic Mobile Health. Known for his dedication, compassion, and pursuit of excellence, Richard served as a Field Training Officer, Airway Trainer, and SIMM competitor, helping shape and support future providers. His humor, leadership, and unwavering commitment to his patients and coworkers left a lasting impact and will be deeply missed.
