Peter joined NYC EMS on May 20, 1996 right when the merger was announced between the FDNY and EMS, which was under the control of the Health & Hospitals Corporation. He loved being a paramedic and especially loved working with the members of the Station he was assigned to, Station 40 in Coney Island. He bravely served the department for 25 years, taking care of the residents and visitors to the City of New York.
Peter was a First Responder at the WTC during and after the Terrorist attack, spending many months down at Ground Zero during the Rescue and Recovery period, also bravely working during the height of the pandemic. Peter retired from the department on May 30, 2021. He is being mourned and sorely missed by loving family and friends.
