Lisa Marie Robbin, 60, of Frederic Wisconsin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family in her son Ken’s home on Thursday, November 29, 2020. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on March 1, 1960.
Lisa served multiple communities in Wisconsin and Minnesota as an EMT and Paramedic for 28 years for North Memorial Health, Lifeline, and Allina Health. She served on trucks, the helicopter, and in the emergency room at the University of Minnesota. She also taught CPR to people all over the state of Minnesota and Wisconsin with her sister’s company Save A Life. She volunteered her services on the Luck, Wisconsin ambulance, cooked for the homeless, and was a tireless advocate for her children and grandchildren in the Frederic schools as well as a Girl Scout Leader. Lisa loved boating on the lake with family and friends, attending children’s athletic events, taking children to the movies, cracking jokes, telling stories, campfires and s’mores, baking with her grandchildren, European vacations and pilgrimages, chili cook-offs, dining out, gazing at the stars and listening to the loons. Lisa could read three books a week and loved her music.
When Lisa was younger she played the piano and drums, participated in the drama club, sang and danced, and went to many concerts and plays. In high school, she was a gymnast, synchronized swimmer, and diver. Lisa loved the outdoors, having gone camping all over the United States with her parents, sisters, and family. She loved her community, her children, grandchildren, and family members fiercely. Her heroic traits come from her Mother who was a nurse and her Father who was a guidance counselor. Lisa was an incredible listener, an advocate for human rights, an upstanding citizen, Everyone’s Mom…Everyone’s best friend…We will Love You and be inspired by You forever!
