Circumstances: Cerebral Aneurysm

He worked as a firefighter for 20 years with the Wichita Fire Department until his retirement when he started working for Sedgwick County EMS. Ken was instrumental with the Medical Officer program “City 56” when with the Fire Department.

Ken also taught EMS Education at Wichita State University and help other programs around the State. Known as a die-hard Denver Broncos fan going as far as painting his pickup blue and orange. Ken’s catchphrase was “YOU KNOW DAT’S RIGHT!” Ken was loved by his co-workers.

Ken is survived by his wife Sylvia and his son Todd.
