John “Jack” Boyle spent close to 30 years as a member of the FDNY EMS. He worked his way up through the ranks until he was made captain and was assigned to communications at Metro Tech Center. He was a big man with an overpowering personality, but he also had a heart of gold. A great officer, who always had the backs of his people.
One time Jack gave money to a new EMT, who wanted to go to paramedic school, but was having financial difficulties. He loved EMS so much that he was a volunteer and instructor at several departments in the surrounding area. He was a dedicated volunteer in his community, and he was on the Greet Team at Grace Community Church.
Besides spending time with his family, Jack had a passion for fishing and his beloved Service Dog Katie, who never left his side, plus his other dogs Bella, Paris, and Zeppelin He will always be remembered for his sense of humor. He will be missed greatly by all whose lives he has touched. Jack is survived by his loving wife Kristen, daughter Jennifer and son Sean, plus many other family members who love him very much.
