Joel Fager

Joel passed away at home after a courageous battle with glioblastoma cancer. A graduate of Topeka West High School (1989), he went on to serve six years in the Air Force and Air National Guard, beginning a lifelong commitment to service and discipline. He dedicated 30 years to emergency medical care as an EMT and Critical Care Paramedic, steadily advancing into leadership roles including Assistant Director and Director of Pottawatomie County EMS. Joel was also deeply involved with Bikers Against Child Abuse, where he served as Chapter Vice President and State Security, reflecting his strong commitment to protecting vulnerable children. He enjoyed the outdoors and found peace in hunting, fishing, and golfing.
