Jeffrey Dechellis

Jeffrey started his EMS career while in high school volunteering at the Westfield Rescue Squad in 1978. He then pursued his passion for healthcare, becoming a Respiratory Therapy Technician in 1982 and a paramedic in July 1983. Jeff served in various roles, including as an instructor, a Flight Paramedic and a clinical coordinator at Somerset Medical Center and JFK Medical Center. Most recently, he worked as a paramedic for Hackensack Meridian Health system and flight paramedic at Atlantic Health Systems. He will be missed by his children and siblings, especially their summertime BBQs together.
