Jaelithe “JJ” Kara Barr

Jaelithe began her career with Austin-Travis County EMS on March 3, 2008, as a communications medic. Her talent, leadership, and commitment earned her promotion to Clinical Specialist in 2010 and Captain in Communications in 2013. JJ served the Austin and Travis County Communities with honor for 17 years. JJ was sharp, hilarious, fiercely loyal, and deeply committed to caring for others. Whether pulling a harmless prank or taking charge in a crisis, she left her mark with heart and humor.
