George was an incredible man whose life deeply influenced those around him. He was a founding member of Bloomfield Emergency Medical Services, a role he held with great pride and lifelong dedication. Even as dementia progressed, memories of “the squad” and his years of service remained clear, reflecting how central public service was to his identity. His commitment extended through generations, inspiring a family legacy in public safety and healthcare, including sons who became police officers, a daughter who became a nurse, and a grandson who served as both a police officer and EMT. George will be remembered for his devotion to family, service, and the lasting impact he made on his community.
