E.R. spent over 30 years as a volunteer fireman and was a founding member of the Bush Fire Department. He spent his life in service to others also serving as a Sheriff’s Deputy, a biology teacher, a principal, a bus driver, and a deacon. Described by many as a fine gentleman, great person, kind and friendly. He described himself as “Jack of all trades and master of none.” He loved to watch The History Channel, Pawn Stars, The Pickers and also loved to travel. His most cherished moments though, were spent with his beautiful wife, about whom Ernest said, “She was the only girl I ever dated,” and his children. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandson.
