At 23, David began his distinguished career with FDNY EMS as a paramedic, quickly earning a reputation for skill, compassion, and dedication to those he served. Over 38 years, he rose through the ranks through hard work and leadership, ultimately retiring with honor as Deputy Chief. His commitment to service extended to the West Babylon Fire Department, where he served for 24 years, including as Captain of the Rescue Squad. David was deeply passionate about helping others and took great pride in mentoring the next generation, leaving a lasting impact on both his community and the profession he loved.
