Dan started with the West Dundee Fire Department in 2005 as a Firefighter/Paramedic. Throughout the years, Dan was promoted to Lieutenant in 2022 and then a Captain in 2023. Dan was the department EMS Coordinator and was dedicated to his roles. Dan married his wife Kristin in 2016 and has a son whom Dan enjoyed spending his time with. While being treated for cancer, Dan continued to demonstrate his dedication and commitment to his duties at the fire department with courage and strength.
