Amanda showed extraordinary gifts from infancy, signing at 10 months, joining Mensa at 6, and reading Harry Potter by age 7. She blended intellect, artistry, and athleticism, often running races to support causes she cared about. A passionate writer and museum enthusiast, she ultimately found her true calling in aviation. With her stepfather Jeff, she flew a 1968 Mooney, explored hangars, and became a commercial pilot. Inspired by his neonatal ICU work, she pursued air medical transport. A rising star in aviation, Amanda’s courage, joy, and determination left a lasting impact in a field where women remain rare.
