Erika Carlson Schnurr

Erika was, quite literally, a rocket scientist. She served at NASA on communications teams supporting multiple space shuttle missions, helping ensure critical links between ground and orbit. She later stepped away from her role to focus on raising her twin children. Alongside being a dedicated soccer mom, she pursued a wide range of passions, including competing in triathlons, creating stained glass art, participating in LARPing events, operating HAM radios, and performing as a singer in a band. She also gave back to her community through Lucas Fire Rescue, first volunteering and later coordinating their REHAB Team.
