Wes was a devoted father to his two children, Hailey and Gage, and a true family man who valued time with his parents, siblings, the mother of his children, and his extended first responder family. He loved the outdoors and found joy in hunting, beekeeping, grilling, and simply being outside. Throughout his career, Wes served in multiple roles including critical care paramedic, school resource officer, deputy, police officer, and firefighter. In each position, he was known for his courage, skill, and dedication to saving lives. He earned the respect of many and was regarded by those who knew him as a hero.
