The 2025 NEMSMBR Board of Directors election is now closed. The next election cycle will open in October 2026.
Thank you to all the participants who voted in the 2025 NEMSMBR election for directors to serve in the 2025–2026 season. Voting was open from November 2–9.
Please join us in congratulating the Board members elected to serve in the 2025–2026 season, beginning November 19, 2025:

The next NEMSMBR Board of Directors election will begin in October 2026. Information on open positions, candidacy requirements, and voting dates will be posted here before the candidate application period.
Participants who are interested in serving on the NEMSMBR Board of Directors are encouraged to review the general election process and eligibility details below.
Board Structure and Election Cycle
NEMSMBR’s Board of Directors is composed of four (4) officers and eight (8) directors who are elected by the past two (2) years of the organization’s events in accordance with the NEMSMBR Bylaws. Directors serve three-year (3) terms, with elections held each year.
Becoming a Nominee
Participants interested in serving on the NEMSMBR Board of Directors will be invited to submit a platform once the call for nominations is closed.
Each nominee is required to:
- Be a participant in the NEMSMBR routes during the past two consecutive years prior to nomination.
- Submit all required candidacy materials by the published deadline.
- Agree to uphold NEMSMBR’s Bylaws, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policy.
Election Timeline
Below is the typical annual timeline for NEMSMBR’s election process.
- October 19 – 25: Nomination submissions accepted.
- October 26 – November 1: Elections Committee reviews submissions and verifies eligibility. Nominees’ platforms submission to the committee.
- November 2 – 9: Election ballots announced to participants.
- November 10: Announcement of election results.
