Scott was born in Minnesota and spent his growing up years in Ohio. As a young boy, he played ice hockey, continuing through his college years. In high school, he was involved in service organizations and volunteered at the local hospital. At graduation, he received an award for never missing one day of school since kindergarten. In college, he was a member of NROTC and participated in flying clubs. Scott was presented with academic honors at the University of Cincinnati where he graduated. He loved to travel and took up running as a hobby to stay physically fit. Scott received multiple “Employee of the Month” awards as a pilot and flight instructor at L3 Harris in Sanford, Florida, where he taught both international and domestic students. He was a pilot for FedEx before flying for an air ambulance service, Guardian Flight. A devout man of faith, Scott volunteered at his church and enjoyed helping those in need. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Lisa, and daughters, Samantha, Emily and Anna, his parents, John and Marilyn, and brothers, John and Michael. He was the consummate “girl dad.” Charismatic, with a zest for life, spirit of adventure, and a razor-sharp wit, those who met Scott never forgot him. He was a man of kindness, devotion, compassion, and love.
