Curtis started his Paramedic career and found his passion to service people with Butler County EMS. He remained with the Butler County Community for 11 years before transferring to Eagle Med (GMR) as a Flight Medic. Curtis was dedicated to his work and valued his relationships with his fellow public servants. He remained with Eagle Med for an additional 17 years of public service.
Curtis enjoyed riding motorcycles, taking short trips with his friends, being a Boy Scout leader, and attending his children’s activities. Curtis is survived by his parents, Cheryl (Rod) Wilcoxen and Charles Spence; children, Ariana Diehl, Tyler Diehl, and Caleb Diehl; grandchild, Artemis Diehl; brothers, Josh Diehl, Clint (Alexann) Wilcoxen, and Paul King; nieces and nephew, Everlyse Wilcoxen, Caitlyn Wilcoxen, Colton Wilcoxen, and Campbell Wilcoxen; aunts and uncle, Janice (Bill) Jarvis, Janice Zeller, Jo Ann Berna, and Larry (Janet) Baird; cousins, Sandy Griffin, Angie (Ryan) Brisbin, John (Ryan) Baird, Paige Jarvis, Billy Jarvis, Stacy (Rich) Mayo, Damon (Sindi) Zeller, and Nathan Zeller.
