Barbara Daily

Barbara was a dedicated part of the emergency responder community for a total of 40 years. She began her career with Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office in the 1970’s. She held several positions in records, EMS, and dispatcher. Barbara had four children. In 1995, when her youngest was starting school, she went back to work as a Sedgwick County 911 dispatcher. This is where she poured herself into her work for the next 22 years. In 2017 Barb retired from the 911 system as a Lieutenant. She loved her job and the great people that she worked with. Her voice was the calm, loving voice on the other end of the phone or radio.
